A black and white photo autographed on the front by The
Beatles. The photograph was presented to The Beatles
hairdresser ‘Betty Glasow’ during the filming of ‘Help!’
on which she worked. Betty also worked on the film ‘A Hard
Day’s Night’ as well as numerous other blockbusters. Each
of The Beatles has personally written a message to Betty
as well as autographing the photograph.
Paul McCartney has signed in black ballpoint pen adding
the message ‘lots of love to Betty, ma wee Betty from Paul
McCartney xx’
Ringo Starr has signed in blue felt tipped pen adding the
message ‘Betty for Queen Ringo Starr xxx’
John Lennon has signed in blue felt tipped pen adding the
message ‘To Bettie many loves and hairs from bonnie John (curly)
Lennon xxx.’
George Harrison has signed in blue ballpoint pen adding
the message ‘To Betty, love from George (Dandruff)
Harrison.’
The photograph is creased and has wear and tear to the
edges. A number of tears have been repaired using tape.
One tear has been repaired on the front and two on the
reverse. There is also a crease that has been strengthened
using tape on the reverse. Very good minus condition.
Measures 20.5cm x 25.5cm ( 8 inches x 10 inches).
The photograph comes with a signed fax from Betty
Glasow stating that she was the Hairdresser on the films
and also a modern print of herself doing George’s hair
during the filming of ‘HELP’.
